Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you choose to buy one of our VPS server packages, you will be able to select one of the three Linux releases which we supply for the Operating System of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. These are among the most preferred and most reliable server OSs out there and we offer them in order to give you a choice for the software environment of your machine in case that you intend to install some app with particular requirements with regards to the packages that need to be present on the hosting server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one of them you'll be able to use will depend on the OS that you have picked. We leave the chance to change the server Operating System open, so if you want to use an application that requires an OS different from the one you already have, we can always re-install the VPS. We can also keep the OS up-to-date on a weekly basis by installing any security updates which may be released.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're totally free and they won't increase the price of your new server, but also because they are really stable and secure. Each of them is supported by a big community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you could install on your server if the application that you intend to use has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and because we would like to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need a different one. We will also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
